Most first projects are $950–$1,500, fixed in a written plan before you agree to anything. My first three Lubbock-area clients pay nothing until it works.
THE FIRST PROJECT
One workflow, fixed. Priced before you commit.
Pick the report, checklist, schedule or handoff that eats the most time. I’ll build the fix end to end, train the people who use it, and leave you with something you own and understand.
Most first projects: $950–$1,500, fixed in your written plan before you agree to anything.
MY GUARANTEE
You don’t pay until it works.
We agree in writing what “working” means before I start. For my first three Lubbock-area clients, I invoice only after it has run correctly for ten business days and passed those checks. If it doesn’t, you owe nothing.
Anything I got wrong, I fix free for as long as you use it.
If it passes and something still isn’t right, I’ll make one round of adjustments.
Why: FlarePaths is new and doesn’t have client case studies yet. I’d rather carry the risk than ask you to.

Full terms: everything included, what’s not, and what I need from you+
Included
An on-site walk-through with you and the people who do the work today
One recurring workflow, such as a report, a checklist, a schedule check, a training path or a handoff, drawing on up to three tools you already use
Automatic delivery or reminders on the schedule you choose
Checks that flag missing or unusual information instead of hiding it
The task timed before and after, so you can see what changed
Hands-on training for the people who use it, plus a one-page guide with recovery steps
Free fixes to anything I built, and 30 days of small adjustments after handoff
Not included
Replacing your POS, payroll or accounting system; new features after handoff; anything that needs access your software vendor or franchisor won’t allow.
Timeline
Usually two to three weeks after I have access.
From you
Read-only access or regular exports from the tools involved, an example of how it’s done today, and two to three hours of a manager’s time across the project. If access or time isn’t available within two weeks, the project pauses rather than costing you more.
Done means
It runs correctly for ten business days in a row, matches your source systems on spot checks we agree in advance, and your team can use it without me.
You own it
Built in accounts you control, usually the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 tools you already pay for. No lock-in, and no new subscription unless we agree it’s worth it.
Payment
First three clients: nothing until it passes the checks. After that: half to start, half when it passes. Plus applicable sales tax.
After handoff: who pays for what
Always free
Mistakes in what I built
If something I delivered doesn’t work the way we agreed, I fix it at no charge, whenever you find it.
Your choice
When your world changes
A new export format, another location, a new manager. Pay by the hour when it comes up, or choose a small monthly plan where I watch that everything keeps running.
Quoted first
New features
Anything new is scoped and priced in writing before I start. Nothing is billed by surprise.
Already have the right software? A short, fixed-fee setup session turns on what you already pay for and shows your team how to use it.
When it isn’t worth paying me
If your current software can already do the job, I’ll show you where the setting is. If the real fix is a process change, I’ll tell you that instead of selling you software.
HOW WORKING TOGETHER GOES
First, a conversation. Then, a written plan.
The walk-through is free: one conversation and a written plan. I don’t build on spec, so the plan spells out exactly what paid work would include.
01
Free walk-through, 30–45 minutes.
Show me the work that eats the most time, at your business or by video. Screenshots or a blank copy are fine; no passwords or customer data needed.
02
A one-page plan within two business days.
What I’d build, what it costs and what it needs from you. Or how to solve it with what you already have. No obligation either way.
03
Built on your real work.
Each week you see something working with your actual numbers and people, not slides, so problems surface early.
04
Training and handoff.
I train your team in person, leave a one-page guide, and stay on for 30 days of adjustments.
GOOD TO KNOW
Cost and software questions.
What does it cost?+
Most first projects land between $950 and $1,500, depending mainly on how many tools and locations are involved. You get the exact, fixed price in your written plan before you commit. For my first three clients, you pay nothing until it works. When your existing software already does the job, a short setup session costs far less.
Will I need new software or subscriptions?+
Usually not. We start with what you have; often an existing feature, a scheduled export or a better setup is enough. What I build runs in the Google or Microsoft tools you already pay for, on the phones your team already carries, with nothing to install. If a paid tool would genuinely do the job better, I’ll show you the cost before you decide. Connections depend on the access your software provides.
My franchisor controls our systems. Can you still help?+
Often, yes. Many franchise systems limit direct connections, so we’ll confirm which reports and exports you’re allowed to use before I quote. I won’t work around your franchise agreement.
What should I bring to the walk-through?+
An example of the work you’d like to stop doing by hand (a screenshot or blank copy is fine), the tools involved, and who does it. You don’t need to send business data or give account access to start.
One workflow you stop doing by hand. A clear price before you start.
