Covers booked, prep status, 86’d items and who’s running the pass, before lineup.
FINISHED WORKFLOW · 02 OF 4
The problem: Each day started from a message thread, three spreadsheets and a different version of the priorities. What it does: One brief before open: yesterday, today’s plan, staffing, and up to four priorities, each with an owner.
Built in my previous retail management role and used by the team every day. This page recreates it with invented data; it isn’t a FlarePaths client project.
HOW THE WORKFLOW RUNS
Yesterday’s results, today’s plan, the schedule and anything special on the calendar.
Coverage problems go to the top. Everything else becomes a short list with an owner.
Leaders see the same page on their phones, so the huddle starts on the same facts.
Call-outs are covered and each lead knows the one thing they own today.
What happened today becomes tomorrow’s “yesterday” automatically.
TRY IT
Pick a day and add call-outs. The brief rewrites itself, and coverage always goes to the top.
Short 2 people on the floor. Fix coverage before open.
In a real project, the numbers come straight from your systems and the screens fit your names, your items and the way your team works. This copy shows the thinking.
