LUBBOCK & WEST TEXAS · WORK DIRECTLY WITH GARRETT WISE

Reporting automation
for Lubbock businesses.

When the weekly report starts with three exports and an hour of copying, the first job is to make the numbers dependable. I help owner-run teams turn repeated Excel and CSV work into a report they can check and use.

WHEN THIS HELPS

The same spreadsheet, rebuilt every week.

Sales arrive in one file, hours in another, and each location names things differently. Someone cleans the files, repairs formulas and writes a manager update before anyone can act. Automating that process starts with agreeing what each number means.

  1. Bring one report

Show the report you prepare now and a sanitized example of each input. We identify the steps, the source totals and who uses the result.

  2. Check the inputs

The agreed workflow checks dates, missing rows, duplicate records and mismatched location names. A missing export should be visible, not silently treated as zero.

  3. Deliver a usable result

The output might be a workbook, a daily summary or a small browser dashboard. The plan states how it refreshes, who checks exceptions and what happens when a source changes.

The working example uses invented numbers. It illustrates the workflow; it is not connected to your business or proof of client savings.

BEFORE WE TALK

Reporting automation questions.

Can you use Excel, Google Sheets or POS exports?

We can start with the files and tools you already use. During the walk-through I check the file format, available exports and access your plan permits. I confirm the exact tools and refresh method before quoting; a direct integration is not assumed.

Will you replace our accounting system?

No. This work supports operational reporting. Your source systems remain the authority, and someone in your business approves definitions and reconciles the result. Accounting and tax decisions stay with your qualified adviser.

What should I bring to the first conversation?

A description of the repeated task, who uses the output and roughly how long it takes. Leave out passwords and private customer, employee and payment information. We can agree a safe sample later.
