HEAR THE RIGHT TRACK

One channel can be quiet.
The others can sound fine.

Recording Check keeps audio tracks and channels separate. Listen near a flagged interval, preview the picture—even in MKV—and keep a reviewed mark beside the original findings.

Your recordings stay on your computer. Checking a saved file cannot prevent a failed live recording or recover missing sound.

CHOOSE. CHECK. REVIEW.

Let the check run.
Keep the judgment.

  1. Choose one finished recording.Use the normal Windows file picker. No folder setup or copying; checking stays on your computer.
  2. Review candidate problems.Listen to an exact channel or play a short, silent picture preview near a finding.
  3. Mark what you reviewed.Findings stay visible. Reopening the app keeps your results. Watch a folder automatically if that fits your workflow.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A useful check.
Not an approval stamp.

What can it check?

Candidate silence of at least five seconds, nearly black pictures of at least three seconds, still pictures of at least five seconds, and audio tracks ending more than five seconds early. It supports one video track and up to eight audio tracks with up to eight channels each, when the included engine can decode the file.

What can it miss?

Missing words, sound before an audio track starts, wrong content, short glitches, clipping, distortion and editorial errors can remain undetected. Inconsistent timestamps require review in your editor. An unflagged recording is not certified as good. Silence, slides and fades may be intentional.

Does it change or upload recordings?

The app reads local files and generates temporary review samples. It does not edit, move, delete or upload your recordings. First setup needs internet access to obtain the separate media engine; ordinary checks are local.

Is this a live recording monitor?

No. It reviews saved files after they stop changing. It does not prevent loss while recording, restore absent audio or measure what a remote audience saw.

What will it cost?

The evaluation is free, with no payment details or automatic charge. We are considering a $29 one-time Windows license for a finished version. No paid offer is open and future availability or pricing is not promised.

Useful in practice?
Tell us plainly.

Try one normal finished recording. Note how long setup and review took, which findings mattered, and whether you would use it again. A free tool may already fit your work better; that is useful feedback too.
